A Life-Changing Revelation
As they entered their third year on the road, Gwen realized she was pregnant. The news was both exhilarating and anxiety-provoking. "It was a moment of mixed emotions," she says. "We were overjoyed to be expecting a child, but we also knew it meant our travels had to end."
Returning Home with New Perspectives
Gwen and Patrick returned to Germany in the spring of 2020.
